Grace is finding a waterfall
When you were only
Looking for a stream."

Introduction

Aloha!

Mahalos for stopping by and taking some time to read my blog. My name is Perri and I grew up on the little island of Oahu. I currently reside in South Jordan, Utah. I’ve lived most of my life as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have recently started coming back. Part of my journey is having to go through the process of excommunication where I am no longer a member. I started this blog to share my experiences that it may be a resource for others that may be struggling on their path back, finding courage to take that step to seek the guidance of church leaders or simply just lacking in faith and need reassurance that no one is ever alone. I hope that as time progresses I can connect with you and help give insight to the minds and hearts of those in similar situations. If any of you who visit my blog are not familiar with my faith I encourage you to fill out the section in the contact tab with any questions, thoughts or feelings. If you wish I’d be happy to be in contact via your method of choice. I pray that my writings cause you to reflect on your current relationship with God and empower you to feel closer to Him.

Much Alohas!

My good friend Morgan Jones (Host for the LDS Living Podcast "All In") Invited me to be a guest on an episode discussing the topic of excommunication within our church. On February 14, 2019 we spent a few powerful hours recording this episode in hopes that it may reach, impact and bring hope to as many people as possible. Repentance is not an easy thing but it is something we as members are privileged to take part in and go through. I hope you enjoy listening and that it may have a positive effect. (Click picture for link)
